Orange Limes

The perfect orange limes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 l Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 100 ml Lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp Cointreau
  • 600 ml Vodka
  1. Briefly boil orange juice – with or without pulp, depending on your taste – with the lemon juice and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Depending on the sugar and acid content of the orange juice, add more sugar or lemon juice to taste.
  1. After the liquid has cooled down, add the vodka and the Cointreau, fill the finished limes into bottles and let them steep in the refrigerator at least overnight.
  1. Ideal to enjoy pure or to top up with sparkling wine or prosecco. Also good as a souvenir.
