Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large oranges
  • 8 dates
  • 80 g walnuts (tree nuts)
  • Orange juice, squeezed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 100 g mascarpone
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch(s) of clove(s) powder
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch(s) black pepper

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fillet the oranges, removing the peel along with the white membrane, then cut out the individual segments from the membranes between them. Then, pit the dates and cut them into strips. Finely chop the walnuts. Combine the orange juice and honey and pour over the orange segments. Mix thoroughly. Refrigerate until ready to use. Now, mix the cream from the mascarpone, honey, milk, clove powder, cinnamon, and pepper. Once these ingredients are combined, serve the cream in dessert bowls and garnish with orange segments, walnuts, and date strips. The date strips can be omitted, as can the clove powder and pepper.
