Ingredients
Dough:
- 100 g Butter at room temperature
- 200 g Sifted flour
- 1 pinch Baking powder
- 60 g Powdered sugar
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp Organic orange zest
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg
Glaze:
- 100 g Powdered sugar
- Orange juice
Instructions
- Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough and wrap in foil and put in the fridge for at least 1 hour. (I kept the dough in the fridge overnight)
- Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Line baking trays with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough thinly in portions on a floured work surface, cut out stars and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake the orange stars at 160 ° C for about 10 to 12 minutes and then let them cool down.
- Mix the powdered sugar with the orange juice until smooth and brush the biscuits with it.
