Ingredients
 

Dough:

  • 100 g Butter at room temperature
  • 200 g Sifted flour
  • 1 pinch Baking powder
  • 60 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp Organic orange zest
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg

Glaze:

  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • Orange juice

Instructions
 

  • Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough and wrap in foil and put in the fridge for at least 1 hour. (I kept the dough in the fridge overnight)
  • Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Line baking trays with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the dough thinly in portions on a floured work surface, cut out stars and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Bake the orange stars at 160 ° C for about 10 to 12 minutes and then let them cool down.
  • Mix the powdered sugar with the orange juice until smooth and brush the biscuits with it.
