Ingredients
 

  • 200 g Butter at room temperature
  • 150 g Cane sugar
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp Rum
  • 350 g Sifted flour
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Baking powder

Besides that:

  • 100 g Couverture white

Instructions
 

  • Knead all ingredients to a smooth dough and wrap in foil and put in the fridge for at least 1 hour (I kept the dough in the fridge overnight)
  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Cover baking trays with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the dough thinly in portions on a floured work surface, cut out hearts and place on the baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  • Bake the chocolate hearts at 200 ° C for approx. 10 minutes, allow to cool and then garnish with melted couverture.
