Orange and Oatmeal Cookies

The perfect orange and oatmeal cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Hearty oat flakes
  • 100 g Oat flakes tender as flowers
  • 75 g Brown sugar
  • 25 g Flour
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 0,5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 piece Orange untreated
  • 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
  1. Put the oatmeal, sugar, flour, egg and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Rinse the untreated orange well under hot water and rub the peel into the bowl with a fine grater. Be careful that you only get the outer orange skin, the white peel is bitter.
  3. Knead everything into a firm dough, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top and bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  5. Shape the dough into small balls and flatten them on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until they get some color.
  6. Let the cookies cool on a board.
  7. Squeeze out the orange, heat half of it together with the dark couverture in a water bath until the couverture has melted. The other half is for the cook 😉
  8. Put the liquid chocolate and orange couverture in a freezer bag, carefully cut off one corner with the scissors and use it to decorate the biscuits.
