Orange and Oatmeal Cookies
The perfect orange and oatmeal cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Hearty oat flakes
- 100 g Oat flakes tender as flowers
- 75 g Brown sugar
- 25 g Flour
- 1 piece Egg
- 0,5 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 piece Orange untreated
- 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
- Put the oatmeal, sugar, flour, egg and baking powder in a bowl.
- Rinse the untreated orange well under hot water and rub the peel into the bowl with a fine grater. Be careful that you only get the outer orange skin, the white peel is bitter.
- Knead everything into a firm dough, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top and bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Shape the dough into small balls and flatten them on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until they get some color.
- Let the cookies cool on a board.
- Squeeze out the orange, heat half of it together with the dark couverture in a water bath until the couverture has melted. The other half is for the cook 😉
- Put the liquid chocolate and orange couverture in a freezer bag, carefully cut off one corner with the scissors and use it to decorate the biscuits.
