Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pear(s), firm
  • 300 g sugar, finest
  • ⅛ liter white wine
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 bottle of schnapps (Williams pear spirit)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and halve the pears. If possible, cut through the stems; otherwise, leave one half attached. Remove the core. Briefly heat and dissolve the sugar in the wine and lemon juice. Add the pear halves and let cool. Then, placing them tightly together, place them in a sealable glass container, adding the cinnamon stick. Cover the pear liqueur and seal the container. Let it steep for about 8 weeks. Then pour the liqueur into a bottle.
