Oregano – Carrots

The perfect oregano – carrots recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Carrots
  • 6 piece Peeled garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh or dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Cold pressed olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Peel the carrots and cut into strips approx. 6-7 cm long, about as thick as a little finger: D, now peel the garlic and chop it or cut it into thin slices as you like, just don’t press it, otherwise it will burn he afterwards too fast !!!! Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick saucepan and add the carrots, oregano, a little salt and pepper and let simmer on high heat with the lid closed for about 5-10 minutes. Shake the pot every now and then so that nothing burns at the bottom. When the carrots have got some color add the garlic and let it steam for 1-2 minutes … and the oregano carrots are ready.
