Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 12 Oreo cookies
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 pinch of salt
- 160 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 160 g butter or margarine
- 100 g wheat flour
- 20 g cornstarch
- 30 g baking cocoa
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 70 ml milk
- 30 g powdered sugar
- 50 g butter
- 400 g double cream cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Preheat the oven to 160°C (top/bottom heat). Separate the Oreos, place the white cream in a bowl, and set aside. Break 16 cookie halves into pieces. You’ll need the remaining cookies. For the batter, beat the egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form. Continue beating the egg whites, gradually adding the sugar and vanilla sugar. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with butter or margarine until fluffy. Add the already crushed Oreos. Mix the flour with the cornstarch, cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda. Stir the flour mixture and milk alternately into the butter mixture, then briefly beat in the egg whites. Divide the batter among 12 muffin cups. Bake the muffins for about 30 minutes. For the topping, beat the Oreo cookie filling with the powdered sugar and butter. Stir in the cream cheese. Fill a piping bag with the topping and pipe onto the muffins. Crumble the remaining Oreos and sprinkle them on the muffins as decoration.
