Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g chicken breast
  • 200 g dates
  • 100 ml chicken broth
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 200 ml cream
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 onion(s)
  • curry
  • rosemary

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the meat into 2-3 equal-sized medallions. Toss the meat pieces in the curry to coat them completely. Finely chop the onion. Heat the oil and sugar in a pan until the sugar turns brown. Add the meat pieces and fry on both sides. Squeeze the garlic over the meat, add a little rosemary, and the onions. Add the chicken stock and simmer covered for 20 minutes. In the meantime, pit the dates and finely chop them, or roughly puree them in a blender. After 20 minutes, add the dates and cream and bring everything to a boil for another 5-10 minutes, turning the meat pieces occasionally. Serve with rice.
