Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 ml water
- 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ lemon(s) or lime(s), untreated, grated zest
- 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
- 800 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 lime(s) or lemon(s), the juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Heat the water with cinnamon, brown sugar, lemon zest, and ginger, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves. Chill the liquid. Once cooled, pour through a sieve into a large bowl. Strain the orange and lemon juice through a sieve and mix with the flavored water.
