Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 150 ml milk
- 6 tbsp oat flakes, fine
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp rose water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp, slivered almonds, chopped
- 1 tbsp, stripped pistachios, chopped
- Apricot(s), dried
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
First, pour the milk into a saucepan and heat gently. Then add the oatmeal, cinnamon, cardamom powder, rose water, and honey and let it simmer for a bit. Now just stir in the chopped almonds – done! To serve, or enjoy on its own, sprinkle the porridge with chopped pistachios and sliced dried apricots.
