Ingredients
 

Curry sauce:

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Chilli pepper
  • 40 ml Pineapple juice
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 500 g Chunky tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder
  • 0,5 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 pinch Salt

French fries:

  • 2 kg Floury potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • Frying oil

Aside from that:

  • Curry powder

Instructions
 

  • Sauté the diced onions until translucent and caramelize with brown sugar. Add all the ingredients and simmer for 30 - 45 minutes. Then remove the cinnamon sticks and whole chili peppers and puree them finely. Finally pass everything through a sieve.
  • Fry the sausages in oil until golden brown.
  • Peel the potatoes, cut them into even strips, and fry them in hot fat until golden brown. Salt at the end.
  • Arrange the sausage on a plate or in the bowl, add the sauce and season lightly with curry powder. French fries with it - done!
