Ingredients

  • 375 ml Buttermilk
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 500 g Spelt flour
  • 3 tbsp Blue poppy
  • 1 Pck. Dry yeast
  • Some water

Instructions

  • Mix the buttermilk, sugar and salt! Mix flour with yeast and add to buttermilk mixture with poppy seeds! Knead into an elastic dough and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes!

Preheat oven to 220 degrees!

  • I always leave it to my bread maker to stir, knead and let go! 😀 Then shape a loaf, score and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper!
  • Add about 3 tablespoons of water to the bread. THEN THE BREAD BASE BECOMES SUPER CRISPY! Bake bread for about 40 minutes!
