Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 ostrich steaks
- 125 g butter
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 2 tbsp Parmesan
- 60 g breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp oil, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Crush the garlic and chop the parsley. Mix the softened butter in a bowl. Combine the garlic clove, parsley, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and the remaining herbs with the butter. Season with salt and pepper and let rest for about 1/4 hour. Sear the steaks in oil until they are almost cooked to your desired doneness. Then brush them thickly with the butter and herb mixture and bake in the oven for about 4 minutes.
