Our Raisin Bread

The perfect our raisin bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 ml Low fat milk
  • 900 g Spelled Flour 630
  • 80 g Liquid butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Raisins
  • 2 packet Dry yeast
  • 80 g Sugar
  1. Let the butter melt in a saucepan or microwell. The milk and butter should be lukewarm.
  2. Knead all ingredients except the raisins into a firm dough.
  3. When the dough is well kneaded, add the raisins. Cover and leave the dough to rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  4. Grease two cake tins or bread tins well.
  5. After an hour, knead the dough again briefly and put it in the cake pan.
  6. Let rise for another 15 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to top / bottom heat to 180c.
  8. Bake the raisin cake on the middle rack for 40-45 minutes. We had butter and jam.
  9. It’s really delicious.
