Oven-baked cauliflower

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg cauliflower
  • 40 g herb butter
  • 1 ½ tbsp flour
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the cauliflower until al dente, cut into florets, and place in a greased baking dish. Melt the herb butter, add the flour, and sauté until lightly browned. Deglaze with 1 cup of water, stirring constantly. Stir in the cream and season generously with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour the sauce over the florets and scatter the cheese over them. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
