Oven-baked fries without fat

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 large potatoes, waxy
  • 1 tsp seasoning mix (fries seasoning), not too much
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, hot, maybe a little more

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

no pre-cooking, vegan

Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/convection oven. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Peel the potatoes and cut into 1 x 1 cm sticks. Mix them in a bowl with the potato seasoning and paprika. Immediately spread the potatoes on the baking tray, otherwise they will absorb water, and the fries should not be stacked on top of each other. Place the tray on the middle rack of the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the fries once and reduce the oven to 200°C. Bake for another 15 minutes.
