Lemon potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 large potatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 lemons

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Grilled vegetables

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into slices about 1 cm apart. Season with salt and pepper. Wash the lemons thoroughly, then halve them lengthwise. Cut the fruit halves crosswise into thin slices. Insert the lemon slices into the potato cuts. Wrap the potatoes in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet, making sure the cuts are facing up. Cook in a hot oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for about 60 minutes. Tip: Remove the potatoes from the oven after about 45 minutes, if desired, and finish cooking in the foil on the grill or in the embers for about 15 minutes.
