Oyster Mushrooms …
The perfect oyster mushrooms … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Oyster mushrooms
- 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon Bacon pieces
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce dark
- 2 tablespoon Steak seasoning
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the mushrooms in it, flattening them a little with a wooden spoon. When the underside is lightly browned, turn the pieces and sprinkle a few pieces of bacon (about a teaspoon full) in between; then continue frying until they are cooked through.
- This goes very quickly – oyster mushrooms should not be cooked too long, because they change the consistency with long cooking times and tend to become tough. Seasoning is only done after roasting.
- I just added a few drops of soy sauce and a little steak seasoning and served them with potatoes with a remnant of the corn chicken ragout.
- They tasted wonderful and slightly reminded us of veal. Will be back on our table soon. What I particularly like about these mushrooms is that they never get “sloppy” or “slippery”, but always come across as nice and crunchy and similar to meat.
