Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 oysters (rock oysters)
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 garlic, Chinese
  • 1 large chili pepper(s), hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 25 minutes

Finely slice the chili and mince the garlic. Mix both with the soy sauce and sweet chili sauce. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Place the oysters in their closed shells, rounded side down, in the oven. After a short time, they will open. Remove the lid from the oysters and pour in the sauce. Replace the lid and cook in the hot oven for another 10 minutes.
