Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast (sandwich bread)
  • 4 slices of cheese (e.g. Emmental)
  • 4 slices of sausage (e.g. salami)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Fat for the pan

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Spread two slices of sandwich bread with ketchup and two with mustard. Then place the sausage and cheese on each slice of bread with mustard, then top with the slice of bread with ketchup. Beat the egg and coat the bread in the egg. Fry in a hot pan until golden brown on both sides, covering with a lid to allow the cheese to melt.
