Pancakes & Crepe: Airy & Fluffy Pancakes
The perfect pancakes & crepe: airy & fluffy pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 60 g Butter
- 125 ml Mineral water
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 375 ml Milk
- 4 piece Eggs
- 250 g Wheat flour
For the pancake batter:
- Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the middle. Mix the eggs with a little milk, salt and sugar and place in the well. Mix with the flour from the middle.
- Slowly add the remaining milk and mineral water while stirring until a thick batter is formed.
A notice:
- Make sure that no lumps form
- Let the dough rest for 15 to 30 minutes to swell.
Preparation:
- Melt some fat in the pan and spread a thin layer of dough evenly on the bottom of the pan with a rotating motion.
- As soon as the edges are golden yellow, carefully turn the pancakes with a spatula or a wooden spatula and finish baking on the other side.
- Bake the remaining pancakes in the same way. Stir the dough before each baking.
