Paprika Cheese Slices
The perfect paprika cheese slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Pc. Red peppers
- 300 g Herb quark
- 150 g Bresso herbs
- 150 g Feta cheese
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 3 Pc. Hard-Boiled eggs
- 1 tbsp Chopped basil
- 1 tbsp Freshly cut chives
- 1 Pc. Fresh-Small garlic
- 0,5 Pc. Chilli pepper / finely chopped
- Salt pepper
- Cut off the paprika lid and core.
- Crush the feta cheese with a fork and place in a bowl, mix with the bresso, herb quark, butter, garlic, chives, chilli and basil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Fill the peppers up to half with the cheese mixture, then place 1 egg on top and fill up completely with the cheese mixture. Chill for about 40 minutes. In the refrigerator.
- Cut the bell pepper into approx. 1 – 1.5 cm thick slices so that the egg remains visible in the slice.
- Arrange on a plate, decorate with chopped chives and balsamic vinegar. A fine starter.
