Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 bell peppers, yellow and red
- 1 onion(s), finely diced
- 1 garlic clove(s), finely diced, more to taste
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 50 ml white wine
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 150 g sour cream
- 100 g cream
- 3 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp, crushed paprika powder, hot
- 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- some chili powder
- some oil
- possibly herbs, fresh
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Simple and quick paprika sauce
First, fry the onions and garlic in oil. Add the diced or thinly sliced bell peppers and fry briefly. Then add the tomato paste and fry briefly, then deglaze with the wine. Then add the stock and bring to a boil. Continue simmering until the vegetables reach the desired consistency. Add the cream and sour cream and add the spices to the sauce. Then return to the heat and season with salt and pepper, and add more seasoning if desired. Finally, add fresh herbs to the sauce, if desired.
