Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 bell peppers, colored
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 small jar of Puszta salad
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • possibly garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

WW suitable

Wash the peppers and tomatoes, remove the seeds, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Trim the spring onions and slice them into rings. Lightly fry the peppers in a large pan. Add the tomatoes and spring onions and fry briefly. Then add the passata and lettuce and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic if desired. This pepper pan can be eaten with a bread roll or as a delicious sauce/side dish with schnitzel. If you want it a bit spicier, add a little chili.
