Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 300 g butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pack of baking powder or baking soda
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 1 pack of red currant jelly powder (without semolina)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • possibly food coloring, green, blue etc.
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • some water
  • sugar sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt butter in the microwave. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a mixer. Divide the dough into 3 parts, or the corresponding number if using more than one color. Mix the first part with cocoa, the second part with red fruit compote powder, and the third part with vanilla pudding powder. Grease a baking pan and alternately distribute dollops of the different colored dough on the baking sheet. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes (use a toothpick to check if it’s cooked through). Let the cake cool. To decorate, mix icing sugar with water until it forms a spreadable mixture. Spread the mixture over the cake and decorate with sugar sprinkles if desired.
