Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g pizza dough, from the refrigerated section or homemade
- 150 g roast chicken or cooked ham
- 100 g mozzarella, grated
- 50 g Parmesan, grated
- 50 g Parmesan, grated
- 30 g butter
- 200 ml cream
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
First, prepare the Alfredo sauce. Sauté the butter in a saucepan, then add the cream. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat and add the Parmesan cheese while stirring. Set aside and let cool. Unwrap or roll out the pizza dough and fold in the edges (3 times 1 cm each), so that the pizza has a rim about 0.5 – 1 cm high. Beat an egg and season with salt and pepper. Brush the edge of the pizza with the beaten egg. Shred the chicken with a fork and add the Alfredo sauce. Add 50 g of Parmesan and 50 g of mozzarella and mix. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the chicken, Alfredo sauce, and cheese mixture over the pizza and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes (depending on the dough used). Or alternatively, prepare it on a pizza stone in the grill.
