Pasta and asparagus salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400g penne
  • 400 g asparagus, green
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, light
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 20 g olives, black
  • 200g Camembert(s)
  • 200g salami
  • some basil leaves
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook pasta in salted water according to the instructions. Peel the bottom third of the asparagus and trim the ends. Cook in salted water for 5-7 minutes, drain, and reserve some of the asparagus water. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Mix the vinegar with the asparagus water, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Mix in the pasta, asparagus, tomatoes, and olives. Cut the Camembert into larger pieces and the salami into 1cm-wide strips. Toss loosely into the salad. Garnish with basil.
