Pasta and sausage casserole

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 500 g meat sausage
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 400 g whipped cream
  • 250 ml Hungarian-style paprika sauce
  • 250 ml shashlik sauce
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp curry ketchup
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • some parsley
  • Fat for the form

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

A simple casserole that’s quick and easy for anyone to prepare. I got the recipe from a friend who didn’t want to cook for me all the time…

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Cut the sausage and bell peppers into small pieces. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the sausage and bell peppers. Grease a casserole dish and toss the pasta with the sausage and bell peppers. Mix the cream, ketchup, and sauces together and pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven (160°C fan/convection oven) for about 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle the parsley over the casserole.
