Pasta bake with a twist

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 can mushrooms 230 g drained weight
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 pack of grated Gouda
  • 200 g salami or meat sausage
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup whipped cream or Cremefine
  • 4 Pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook spaghetti in salted water with 1 tablespoon of oil until al dente. Drain well. Preheat oven to 190°C. Dice tomatoes, drain mushrooms, finely chop onion, and finely chop sausage. Mix all ingredients with the pasta in a bowl. Beat 1 egg, mix tomato paste (if desired) and sweet cream to make a sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the pasta and the other ingredients. Transfer ingredients to a greased baking dish, arrange 3-4 peppers on top, and sprinkle with cheese. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the aluminum foil and bake for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
