Pasta bake with salmon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • Salt
  • 750 g salmon fillet(s), frozen, thawed
  • some lemon juice
  • 10 g butter
  • 1 tbsp, heaped flour
  • 3 cups of cream
  • some milk for the sauce
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 100 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to the instructions. Cut the salmon fillets into large pieces and generously drizzle with lemon juice, salt, and pepper on all sides. Melt the butter in a saucepan, sprinkle in the flour, and whisk until creamy. Slowly add the cream, whisking vigorously. Bring the sauce to a boil. Add milk until the sauce is thin. Season with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sugar. Now place the cooked pasta in a baking dish and spread the salmon pieces evenly on top. Spread the sauce over the pasta and salmon. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve with a fresh salad.
