Pasta casserole with cooked ham and tomatoes

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 300 g ham, cooked
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 3 tomatoes, ripe, or approx. 20 cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • olive oil
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • possibly oregano
  • possibly marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly tomato paste
  • 125 ml cream

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

super tasty, simple

Cook the pasta until slightly firm to the bite. Rinse well and drain well. Finely chop the herbs. Add marjoram or oregano if desired. Sauté the garlic in olive oil. Add all the herbs. Then add the peeled tomatoes from the can. Quarter the fresh tomatoes and add them to the pot. Bring to a boil. Season well with salt and pepper. If desired, season with seasoned tomato paste or stir in about 125 ml of cream. Grease a large baking dish with olive oil and fill the dish with half the pasta. Add one third of the cooked ham and cheese to the pasta. Add the remaining pasta, then the sauce and the cooked ham. Finally, sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in the oven at 180°C to 200°C for about 15 to 20 minutes.
