Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g pasta (horns)
- 2 tbsp oil (olive oil)
- 2 tomatoes (or pelati)
- salt and pepper
- 1 basil
- 100 ml broth
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 50 ml cream
- Sauce thickener
- 50 g cheese, grated (preferably Parmesan or Sbrinz)
- 20 g toasted bread, diced, toasted, or croutons
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the pasta and place it in a baking dish. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Chop the tomatoes, fry briefly in olive oil, and season. Chop the basil and add it. Deglaze with broth, reduce, and add the tomato paste. Season with cream. Stir in the sauce thickener. Mix with the pasta in the baking dish. Top with croutons or toasted bread cubes, sprinkle with cheese, and bake briefly (approx. 10-15 minutes).
