Pasta – minced meat – casserole

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 750 g minced meat, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp broth, granulated
  • 20 g Parmesan, grated
  • 180 g tomato paste
  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 500 g broccoli, frozen
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 200 g cheese, grated (Emmental or Gouda)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Brown the ground beef in a pan, season with salt, pepper, and broth. Stir in the tomato paste and grated Parmesan cheese, and mix well. Place the ground beef mixture as the bottom layer in a casserole dish. Cook the pasta in salted water for 12-15 minutes until tender, then add it to the casserole dish as the second layer on top of the ground beef. Bring the frozen broccoli to a boil, but be sure not to cook it completely soft. Meanwhile, spread the sour cream over the pasta with a tablespoon. Place the broccoli florets on top. Finally, spread the grated Emmental cheese over the casserole. Bake in the oven at 200°C for approximately 45 minutes.
