Pasta with a mascarpone, pea and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g tomatoes (pizza)
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200 g peas, frozen
  • 400 g pasta
  • 80 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

rich, but very tasty

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a pan and fry the bacon until crispy. Add the tomatoes and frozen peas and cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Slice the basil and add it to the sauce along with the mascarpone. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with fresh Parmesan cheese.
