Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 200 g minced meat (lamb, beef, pork or mixed)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 100 g coriander
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp paprika paste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500 g natural yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Yalaci Manti

Cook the pasta as usual. Meanwhile, fry the minced meat in oil. Dice the onion, bell pepper, and tomatoes and add to the minced meat. Continue frying, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon to prevent it from burning. Then add the tomato paste, paprika paste, and pepper, along with a little water. Simmer until lightly combined. Finely chop the coriander and add to the minced meat sauce. Crush the garlic and add to the natural yogurt, season with salt. Place the cooked pasta in a large bowl. Pour the yogurt-garlic sauce over the pasta, mix everything together, and finally pour the minced meat sauce over the pasta. I always serve it with salad as a side dish.
