Pasta with cheese sauce made from 4 cheeses

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ cup(s) whipped cream
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • ¾ cup(s) blue cheese, crumbled
  • ¾ cup(s) cream cheese
  • ¾ cup(s) cheese (Graviera or Gruyère), grated
  • ¾ cup(s) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • some pepper, freshly ground
  • 500 g pasta, e.g. tagliatelle

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water. Bring the cream and garlic to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat. When the first small bubbles appear on the sides of the pan, remove the garlic and add the cheeses one at a time, stirring until melted. Season with nutmeg and pepper. Keep the sauce warm over low heat; do not boil! Add the pasta to the warm cheese sauce, stir well, and serve immediately. This warm cheese sauce is a true delight!
