Pasta with delicious tomato and minced meat sauce from Thomas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 3 large mushrooms
  • 3 m.-sized carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp ajvar
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp marjoram, dried
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Oil (sunflower oil)
  • salt and pepper

Quick, easy and tasty

Chop the mushrooms, onion, garlic cloves, and carrots. Heat a little oil in a medium-sized pan and fry the mushrooms until hot, then season with salt and pepper and transfer to a bowl. Add a little more oil to the hot pan and fry the minced meat. Add the onion and carrots. Add the tomato paste, mustard, ajvar, and paprika and fry for about 1 minute. Stir in the passata and vegetable stock. Add the marjoram, cumin, soy sauce, and bay leaf. Simmer the sauce for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Remove the bay leaf, add the mushrooms to the sauce, and return to the heat, then season the sauce with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta and serve immediately with the sauce.
