Pasta with mushrooms, ham and oregano

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g pasta
  • 200 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 150 g whipped cream
  • 100 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, black, from the mill
  • Paprika powder
  • Herbs, Italian
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash, clean, and slice the mushrooms. Cut the cooked ham into approximately 2 x 2 cm pieces. Sauté the mushrooms in a pan with a little fat. When they are lightly browned, add the ham and sauté. Once the ham is browned, add the heavy cream and let it reduce slightly. Season everything with salt, pepper, paprika, Italian herbs, and oregano. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, according to the package instructions. Just before serving, add the cheese to the sauce and let it melt.
