Pasta with Pesto Verde

The perfect pasta with pesto verde recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Pesto Verde

  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 50 g Pine nuts
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 100 ml Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. For the pesto, roast the pine nuts in the pan until golden brown. Puree together with the other pesto ingredients and continue to season with olive oil until a smooth, creamy consistency is obtained.
  1. Cook the penne according to the instructions on the packet. Just before the end of the cooking time, heat up the pan. Drain the penne and add to the pan. Pour the pesto over the pasta and toss everything well.
  1. Spread the pasta on the plates and grate the Parmesan on top. Garnish with a leaf of basil if you like. Finished
