Pasta with shrimp and green sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp onion(s)
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 250 g sauce (green sauce), homemade or from a pot
  • 250 g shrimp or king prawns
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 dashes lemon juice

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

North Sea meets Frankfurt

Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta and add a little salt. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside. While the pasta is cooking, dice the onion and garlic and fry in a pan with the olive oil until translucent. Add the shrimp to the onion and garlic mixture and fry until pink. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon. Once the shrimp have taken on color, remove the pan from the heat and add the green sauce. Heat the green sauce and shrimp mixture over low heat; do not bring to a boil. To serve, transfer the pasta to a deep dish and pour the shrimp over it. Serve with a light white wine or, if available, an Äppler.
