Pastries: Cherry Puff Pastry Pieces

for the glaze:
- 1 Glass Morello cherries
- 3 tbsp Vanilla flavored custard powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 Msp Cinnamon
- 4 tbsp Powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Unroll the puff pastry with the foil on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cut into even squares with a sharp knife. Use your fingers to gently roll up the edge so that nothing runs out when you bake. You can leave the shape more square, or you can roll the dough in such a way that you get round tartlets.
- Drain the cherries in a sieve, collecting 2 – 3 tablespoons of juice. Mix the cherry juice with 2 tablespoons of pudding powder without lumps. Stir the rest of the custard powder into the cherries. Mix the cherries, pudding powder mixture, sugar and cinnamon.
- Spread the cherries on the puff pastry pieces. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees top / bottom heat on the middle rack for about 15 – 20 minutes until golden yellow.
- Let the finished particles cool down briefly and sprinkle or brush with icing sugar. Then let it dry.
