Peach and turkey ragout

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey meat
  • 1 can peach(s)
  • 3 tbsp margarine
  • 125 ml white wine
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the turkey. Drain the peaches and reserve the juice. Cut the peaches into wedges. Brown the turkey well in a pan and season with salt and pepper. Then remove from the pan and keep warm. Deglaze the pan with 125 ml of peach juice. Add the wine, cream, and curry powder, bring to a boil, and stir in the gravy thickener. Season to taste. Then return the meat to the gravy. This goes very well with rice mixed with browned almond flakes.
