Peach Banana Chutney

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1,300 g peach(s), approx. 10 pieces, pitted
  • 600 g banana(s), peeled
  • 650 g onion(s)
  • 400 ml vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 500 g brown sugar
  • 3 tsp curry
  • 2 tsp coriander
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds, ground
  • 2 peppers, red
  • 2 chili peppers, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pit, peel, and dice the peaches. Slice the bananas. Dice the onions. Add the spices and vinegar and simmer over medium heat for about 1 1/2 hours until thickened. Pour into sterilized jars while still hot.
