Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 1 can peach(s), halved
  • 50 almonds (flakes)
  • 100 butter
  • 100 sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

super fast and delicious

Halve the peach halves again and drain well. Grease a 26cm springform pan and sprinkle the almond flakes on the bottom. Arrange the drained peaches on top. For the batter, cream the butter with 50g of sugar, the vanilla sugar, and 3 egg yolks until fluffy. Add the flour mixed with the baking powder. Beat the 3 egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form and fold into the batter. Pour the batter over the peaches. Bake at 200°C for 40 to 50 minutes. Turn the cooled cake out and serve, almond-side up.
