Peach pudding cream with sour cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 large can of peach(s)
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Drain the peaches and collect the juice. Set aside two particularly beautiful peach halves for decoration. Finely puree half of the remaining peaches and cut the other half into small cubes. Mix the custard powder and sugar with a little cold milk until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to the boil with 100 ml of peach juice, stir in the mixed powder and bring to the boil while stirring. Stir the egg yolk and sour cream into the finished pudding. Once the pudding has cooled to room temperature, fold in the peach puree and the peach cubes. Transfer to a bowl or small dessert dish and decorate with the two beautiful, sliced ​​peaches. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
