Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g oat flakes, wholegrain
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 85 g peanut butter
- 120 ml milk, warm
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 bananas, very ripe
- 100 g block chocolate or dark chocolate
- 70 g peanuts, roasted
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Either prepare silicone molds for muesli bars (the specified amount is enough for about 24 bars) or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the oats, brown sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. In a second bowl, use a whisk to dissolve the peanut butter in the warm milk. Then add the egg and the bananas, which have been mashed well with a fork, to the milk mixture and whisk again. Now add the oatmeal and spice mix and mix everything together. Break the chocolate into small pieces with a large knife and fold into the mixture along with the peanuts. Divide the mixture into silicone molds or pour onto the baking sheet and use a large knife to shape it into a square about 1 cm high. Bake in the hot oven on the middle rack for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. Remove the granola bars from the silicone mold or cut the square into individual bars with a large knife. Let the bars dry a little more on the rack.
