Peanut schnitzel

Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 5 pork schnitzels
  • 3 eggs
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • some milk
  • 5 tbsp, leveled peanut butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Whisk the eggs with a little milk in a deep plate. In another deep plate, add the flour and breadcrumbs. Pound the schnitzels until thin, spread a tablespoon of peanut butter on one side, and season the other side with salt and pepper. First coat the schnitzels in flour, then in the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Heat plenty of oil in a pan; it should reach the top of the schnitzels. When it’s hot, add the schnitzels to the pan and fry for 4 minutes on each side. We usually serve them with fries or curry rice.
