Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pears, ripe
  • 2 stalks basil, fresh
  • 50 g cheese (Roquefort)
  • 1 lime(s), the juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Pears and cheese – a great starter that is guaranteed to attract attention

Wash the pears, dry them, halve them, and core them. Then slice them thinly. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems. Finely crumble the Roquefort cheese. Mix together the lime juice, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Then whisk in the olive oil. Arrange the pear slices on a platter with the Roquefort cheese and basil. Drizzle with the maple syrup dressing. Serve with baguette.
