Pear Crumble

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g pear(s), prepared
  • cinnamon sugar
  • 120 g flour
  • 80 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 150 g cane sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

for a casserole dish

Combine the flour with the oats, sugar, a pinch of salt, chopped walnuts (I chopped them quite finely), and butter to make a crumble. Peel the pears, remove the cores, and cut them into eighths. Cut into small pieces and place them in a buttered ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar, if desired. Spread the crumble over the pears and bake the crumble in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan oven). It tastes especially delicious while still slightly warm and served with vanilla sauce.
